Kevin Eadie Spirit Award 2016
A community event at the Peninsula Pilots games from Jun 1 – Jul 23, 2016.
Wednesday, June 01 thru Saturday, July 23 6:50 pm
This year we have established the ‘Kevin Eadie Spirit Award’to be bestowed on the Peninsula Pilots Player who demonstrates dedication, team spirit, perseverance, compassion, courage and the love of baseball. This award is in memory of our beloved Peninsula Pilots Batboy, Kevin Eadie, who lost his life at the young age of 14 to a devastating illness called Niemann-Pick Type C. We encourage all of our Peninsula Pilots’ fans, the Peninsula Pilots players, the players’ friends and families to vote for the player of their choice to be awarded this honor. The player who receives the most accumulative votes from June 1, 2016 through the evening of Sat. July 23, 2016 at the Kevin Eadie Night will be the recipient of the Kevin Eadie Award, a trophy, and a gift from the Kevin Eadie Foundation board of directors.
Here’s how it works:
We encourage everyone to vote for the player of their choice to be given this award. Each vote is in the form of a $1.00 donation per vote to the Kevin Eadie Foundation to support ongoing research for a cure for this life-robbing illness. You may cast your vote at the Peninsula Pilots’ gameson a marked voting slip or by making a secure vote online at www.helpkevin.org for the player of your choice. There is nolimit as to the amount of votes anyone can cast. Each week the top three (3) players in the lead will be announced at the games and on the website. In addition, EACH WEEK, the player who receives THE MOST votes for that week will be acknowledgedat the Pilots home game and given a gift from the foundation. When voting at the games or online…. DON’T FORGET to mark which player OR the player’s number when casting your vote!
Each vote is a $1.00 donation and worth SO MUCH. Each vote CAN make a difference!!
